This book had so many of my favorite tropes rolled up into a beautiful story:- second chance- enemies to lovers- possessive MMC- billionaire - brother’s best friend - fake engagement It gave me all the emotions， made me laugh and cry， and was truly unputdownable。 The beginning was filled with so much angst， the middle is full of hope and longing， and the end is so delicious！ I cannot wait to read more of Shain’s books！

Shain Rose has done it again。 This is another angst filled romance with the next Hardy Brother。Dex and Kee were each other's first loves。 Dex wanted to shout it from the rooftops and Kee said they needed to keep it secret。She was going places with her singing。 She was also keeping secrets。 Dex was a young boy in love and when Kee made her decision， he was broken。 He become cold and hard and because of the lies told， he left town and never looked back。I felt sorry for him， because you could tell Shain Rose has done it again。 This is another angst filled romance with the next Hardy Brother。Dex and Kee were each other's first loves。 Dex wanted to shout it from the rooftops and Kee said they needed to keep it secret。She was going places with her singing。 She was also keeping secrets。 Dex was a young boy in love and when Kee made her decision， he was broken。 He become cold and hard and because of the lies told， he left town and never looked back。I felt sorry for him， because you could tell this hurt him a lot。 Fast forward a number of years and he is definitely not the boy Kee remembers when she comes face to face with him again。 Her best friend has managed to get her a spot singing at his casino in the hopes it helps her break away from certain people。The tension between these two is thick， they both might say there is no feelings left and they don't care but you can tell there are still sparks！In order to help Kee with a situation， he makes a proposition that claims will help her。 But in order to make it， they need to survive each other for 6months。 They might not know each other on the surface， but deep down， where it counts， they still know each other。I loved how Dex did everything he could to enable Kee to be herself and he supported her with everything she did。 Kee， cant help but notice this and they get closer。 I enjoyed this story so much。 Like all of Shain's stories， you get hooked into the writing， it flows really well and holds your attention。We do eventually find out what is happening and I did feel sorry for what Kee had to deal with and the manipulation she faced from the people that she cared about。I loved how Dex did what he could to protect her， especially where it counted。A really enjoyable read， I cant wait for the next one！ 。。。more

I have absolutely loved every book in this series。 Between the Tarnished Empire Series and The Hardy Billionaires， Shain has built this entire world of delicious billionaires being brought to their knees by badass women。 I was not expecting Kee & Dex’s story to have the darker element that it did， but I was absolutely here for it， and it worked perfectly for them。 Like others in the series， Between Never & Forever brings such a raw and emotional depth to them that you can’t help but become inves I have absolutely loved every book in this series。 Between the Tarnished Empire Series and The Hardy Billionaires， Shain has built this entire world of delicious billionaires being brought to their knees by badass women。 I was not expecting Kee & Dex’s story to have the darker element that it did， but I was absolutely here for it， and it worked perfectly for them。 Like others in the series， Between Never & Forever brings such a raw and emotional depth to them that you can’t help but become invested in it。 These books are hard to put down once you start！ Dex was absolutely divine and fit the OTTP role to a T。 Kee may be the All-American Sweetheart to the rest of the world， but Dex knows better， and I loved that he fought everything to help her find herself again。 Between Never & Forever was gut wrenching and heart warming all at once and I will forever love watching these brothers and their found family come together to take on those who have wronged the ones they love。 。。。more

*I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review。We have Dex and Kee who are the main characters， we start the book out with them having been together for a while in High school。 They have been keeping things a secret though at the behest of Kee's record label。 She announces she is moving to Nashville after graduation and breaks up with Dex， providing slim to no details。I didn't enjoy Kee in the beginning and I think her POV could have been written better。 I honestly felt bad for Dex in the b *I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review。We have Dex and Kee who are the main characters， we start the book out with them having been together for a while in High school。 They have been keeping things a secret though at the behest of Kee's record label。 She announces she is moving to Nashville after graduation and breaks up with Dex， providing slim to no details。I didn't enjoy Kee in the beginning and I think her POV could have been written better。 I honestly felt bad for Dex in the beginning because she did treat him poorly。 We fast foward to the future and find out that things aren't what we thought they were。 At this point they are grown a** adults， and the miscommunication is OFF THE CHARTS。 Dex was honestly just a dick， I didn't enjoy his character for the majority of the book。 I felt bad for Kee once I figured things out but if she had literally just told him everything from the start nothing that happened would have had happened。 I wanted to like this book so badly but I just didn't really enjoy it。 At some points I disliked both of the main characters and the plot honestly gave me so much anxiety。 。。。more
